A human-scale material experiment.
A collaborative investigation of how networks can form space. Silkworm studies informed physical tape installations, material-deposition tests and cable-driven printing. This photograph shows the team's human-scale installation on the AA terrace.

The network is the spatial structure.
Read the photograph through the relationship between the tape, the terrace and existing buildings. Repeated strands form a network at human scale, exploring how material can define space.
The installation photograph records built studio work; it does not, by itself, establish structural performance or the outcome of the wider printing research.
