Publishing direction and material research

Hemant Jindal founded Field Assembly and leads its publishing direction. His research investigates how computational processes, biological materials and public tools can change architectural practice.

An agricultural network in Aarbanieh, Mount Lebanon, connects markets, education and cultivation along a pedestrian promenade. Area A places markets and classrooms within existing terraces, linking the act of growing food with learning and exchange.

Landscape and material experimentation

Carole El Danaf works across computational design, fabrication and productive landscapes. Her selected work connects the scale of a rural territory with hands-on material experiments. As Contributing Editor, she brings this design-research focus to Field Assembly.
