Your working copy

Your working copy stays in this tab while you write. It is cleared when the email service accepts the submission, unless you have made new edits while it was sending; those edits remain here. If sending fails, your copy stays for retry or copying. If you choose device saving above, it remains available for later visits. Dated copies in this tab or on this device expire after 30 days without use; the browser clears them when you return. Older undated drafts may still restore. Choose Clear working copy on a shared device.

Email and access

The “Send submission” button sends your name, reply email and work details through Vercel and Resend to the editorial inbox. Hemant manages the editorial inbox. Google hosts it. Some apps linked to his Google account have permission to read or send Gmail messages, including submissions. Editors and collaborators cannot browse the inbox. If a specific contribution needs review or production help, Hemant may share that message with the relevant person; submissions are not forwarded automatically.

Your work

We receive your name, reply email and submission text when you send them. We use it to consider your work and contact you if needed. This page does not upload files, and we never sell submission data. Publication requires a separate agreement.

Prefer email, or having trouble sending? Copy your submission, then email the editorial desk and paste it into your message. Opening email does not send the form.

Start with a short pitch

Have an idea?

You do not need a finished portfolio to start a conversation. Share the idea, why it matters and one optional link; we can ask for more as the conversation develops.

A starting pitch of roughly 100–200 words is enough. This is guidance, not a word-count requirement. If a client, employer, funder or sponsor is involved, mention that too.

This opens your email app; nothing is sent until you choose Send. For a longer submission, use the detailed form above.

After you send

After your submission.

  1. 01

    You send

Keep a copy of what you send. If a delivery reference appears, save it too.

  2. 02

    We review

We consider editorial fit, evidence and authorship. We cannot guarantee an individual reply.

  3. 03

    We discuss

If the work fits, we discuss scope, permissions, timing and terms.

  4. 04

    We agree the next step

Submission is not publication, employment or a transfer of rights. Any next step requires a separate agreement.

Submitting does not transfer copyright.

Rights stay with whoever owns each part. Do not send confidential material; share only work you may send for editorial consideration. Publication, credit, edits and promotion are agreed separately if the work is selected. How permissions work.Need another format? Describe it in the access notes and link to a viewable file.
